Abstract:

9 species of parasitic dipterans of the family Pipunculidae occur in the pine forests of Puszcza Biadowieska. Their species diversity diminishes in the course of succession. The greatest number of species (7) is found in young stands, but the community abundance is the lowest there. The number of species and abundance is stabilized in older stands with 4 species.
