Abstract:

Seasonal abundance and incidence of parasitism of larvae and adults of the delphacids Nilaparvata lugens and Sogatella furcifera and the euscelids Nephotettix nigropictus and N. virescens were monitored in rice in the Philippines during the 1983 wet season and the 1983-84 dry season. Overall percentage parasitism by dryinids, strepsipterans and pipunculids was low and variable among seasons and locations.
