Abstract:

ABSTRACT [not included in the original paper]: First record of the genus Nephrocerus ZETTERSTEDT, 1834 from the Iberian Peninsula (Diptera: Pipunculidae) Nephrocerus scutellatus (MACQUART, 1834) is recorded from the Iberian Peninsula for the first time. The five females were caught during June and July 1995 by means of Malaise traps, situated in a heterogeneous forest area at the Finca de Artikutza in the Province of Navarra (Spain) at an altitute of 600m above sea level.
