| Abstract: | The study presents selected results of almost 25 years of research of Pipunculidae fauna in Slovakia. Eudorylas okalii sp.nov. Kozanek et Kehlmaier is described. The following new combinations are proposed: Claraeola clavata (Becker, 1897) (Eudorylas) and Clistoabdominalis ruralis (Meigen, 1824) (Eudorylas). Chalarus brevicaudis Jervis, 1992; Ch. exiquus (Haliday, 1833); Ch. indistinctus Jervis, 1992; Ch. juliae Jervis, 1992; Ch. perplexus Jervis, 1992; Nephrocerus lapponicus Zetterstedt, 1838; Cephalosphaera germanica Aczel, 1940; Claraeola clavata (Becker, 1897); Cla. halterata ( Meigen, 1838); Eudorylas carpathicus Kozanek, 1993; E. demeyeri Kozanek, 1993; E. fusculus (Zetterstedt, 1844); E. goennersdorfensis Dempewolf et Dunk1996; E. holosericeus (Becker, 1897); E. unicolor (Zetterstedt, 1844); E. vonderdunki Dempewolf, 1998; E. zonatus (Zetterstedt , 1849); Tomosvaryella cilitarsis (Strobl, 1910) and T. israelensis De Meyer, 1995 are reported for the first time from Slovakia. Altogether, 101 Pipunculidae species belonging to 14 genera are listed. |
