| Abstract: | A new species, Nephrocerus auritus, of Pipunculidae from Gansu Province is described and illustrated in this paper. The new species is characterized by having a semicircular thin process at each side of the mesonotum, 5 black short strong spines at hind trochanters, a 'Y'-shaped marking at tergite 1, and a reverse bell-like marking at tergite 2 and 3. |
